Founder, Director, Head Strategist
Shane established the ASCET Company in July 1995. Initially, ASCET was established as a corporate training services company. However, the demand for Shane’s strategic marketing and business planning skills began to increase significantly to the stage where the marketing and management consulting services now form a large proportion of the Group’s activities. Shane is often a keynote speaker at sales and marketing seminars/conferences throughout Australia and is recognised as an outstanding group facilitator and educator. Shane’s role in client projects is overall management and strategic direction. Shane Manley is the lead strategist within the Pepper Group and is responsible for the creation of some of the most innovative and successful marketing/product development strategies and campaigns implemented for a high number of public and private sector organisations.
Head of Media
Following 11 years experience in the Television advertising industry, Peter joined the Pepper team as Head of Media in 2013 having managed some of the biggest media accounts in Australia. Peter leads the Media team handling all media planning, negotiating and buying. His experience, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills, are the catalyst behind clients successful media advertising campaigns.
Director, General Manager
Following 7 years in the television industry, Jed joined the group as a Director of Pepper Brand Managers in 2011. Highly skilled in media analysis and buying, Jed’s strong national network of media relationships gives Pepper an edge in negotiating the best media deals for it’s clients. Jed also assumes the role of Producer on all Peppers major TV and Video production projects, and is responsible for the day to day running of the advertising agency.
Head of Creative
With acute left brain thinking and a big dollop of right brain Nick creates campaigns that make brands memorable. Once the tone and mood are set he then opens up a swiss army knife of skills and ideas that communicate to people, markets and generations.
His previous roles in Melbourne & Sydney have included; Designer, Art Director, Copywriter and Creative Director. Add Music Composer and Film Maker to the list and that about does it.
His role within the Pepper team are broad but contributes whatever the project requires. Over a twenty year career he has worked on blue chip clients to create meaningful campaigns with tangible results.

Head of Digital
Andrew, a design graduate from RMIT, joined Pepper in July 2005, making the ‘tree change’ from Melbourne to Ballarat. He has had over 19 years of experience in brand development and management, working on brands including Telstra, BHP, Nando’s, and Brumby’s. Andrew now leads Peppers digital team.
Pepper adopts a global/big picture approach to marketing organisations. Strategy will ultimately define business success.
